So I have mentioned this over and over again.... we need cards and I have not gotten any feedback. I took it upon myself to git-er done, so what do you think? I am open to suggestions on a new quote for the front. I actually would love to put a quote there that is unique to all of us. Keep in mind that when I do the finishing touches the flames will not be blurry, and of course the text will be positioned correctly.

Again, this is just the preliminary stage. I have a bunch of ideas to play around with. These will be printed nonUV, which means you can write on them- hence the
Well, here goes. I am no longer a virgin in the blog world. I guess I never felt my life was exciting enough for others to read about. Or maybe it is too explicit.
Anyhow, today it was a struggle to remember I am a creator. I have been feeling a little out of control. So when I got home, I picked up my favorite book and read the following excerpts:
..the experience you create is a statement of Who You Are-and Who You Want to Be.
...you are a big creation machine, and you are turning out a new manisfestation literally as fast as you can think.
I have been trying to video the Zebra Longwing butterfly enjoying the purple potterweed all week. Its one of those ironic happenings. As soon as I set up my tripod on my less than adequate camera, the little dudes just choose another plant on the other side of the yard! Time and time again until yesterday, when I was just wandering around, they decided to dine. Funny because the camera I was borrowing was asked for, so perfect timing. Now I just HAVE to get a camera. So many priorities!
The Zebra longwing is Florida's state butterfly. This species has a special talent, it can digest pollen as
I wanted to send a shout out to all my little caterpillars!
The lucky monarch that found the milkweed oasis in my yard is now a proud mama. There are black and yellow caterpillars all over the plants. They are all different sizes, granted still small but this leads me to understand we have more than one proud parent. Soon the plants will begin to look rrrrragged and this is fine. I'm thrilled!
I have three in containers and I really hope they make it. I plan to build a mansion for them and will share the constuction plans with you all.
I'm sure everyone knows that there are many different types of website that host video content and also provide embed codes, so users can take the code and insert it on their webpage or myspace.
I just figured out that one of the content plugins I have for the main site (no not here for the blog) supports a multitude of video formats. What this means is the following:
If you have a video on ted.com for example and you want to play it on our site, you simpy grab the ID code from the video link and insert it into content. I'm trying around with these things on the "producers" page which can be
Due to popular demand I'm dedicating a quick post to inserting images into a blog post. When you're in the "Myblog Editor" which is what you're in when you're writing a new post, you'll see a list if icons at the top. From the left, these icons represents style formatting, lists, text alignment, links, and you'll also see an icon that looks like a tree. If you click on the tree icon, a new window will pop up where you can insert a link to an image. This link can be to an image hosted on any site. In this window you can also set how to align the image, whether to give it a border and all that
The fire show put on by Erinlighten, The Beast, LeeLee, Debz, and myself at the retirement home was kick ass! Hannah contributed by making us all look super fabulous. Paco, Russ, Grant, & Mark were freakin' great by helping us all during the day til the end of the show- scoping the venue, running errands, cooking, music, fire safety, filming, etc.. THANK YOU GUYS* Our audience totally loved us... Footage will be online as soon as possible. Pics are in the gallery located in the July4th2k8 folder.
The party at 'the hizzie' was fun ! Oh how the house is coming along nicely! To all those who
Thanks to Beatmassa we can now add our videos to the site.
I have just added the video that accompanies my first edition of What's Happenin' Hannah? It is pretty blurry, don't know why but I hope you all enjoy it. Go to the origonal blog (Monarch lays her eggs) to view.
