After two days of non-stop rain the garden is going off. Today was butterfly mania, they were all over the yard and yesterday I spotted a deep, orange butterfly I hadn't seen ever. It didn't stop there, one big, black bee, crown spiders and a black jet-like fly with red wings and bright dots on the end of the antenae. Another new arrival is the family of black and red stink bugs that came with all that milkweed I bought for the monarch caterpillars.

And on top of all these great additions to my garden, new caterpillars of a different variety. I guess about 70 eggs or so of the Zebra Longwing butterfly are resting snug on the passion vine buds. They are close to their older brothers and sisters who are white caterpillars with black spikes all over. I look forward to sharing the pics with you and the footage. Both are coming soon so stay tuned...
