This weekend marked another occurrence of the Afterburn, which had started out in 2005 as "Sun Burn", an outdoor festival put on by Burning Man fanatics and others.

The very first impression I got was that some people really take their role in all of this a bit too serious. I realize the need for the organizers to be able to plan in advance and to take as much funding in, however I don't understand why you have to get treated like assholes for not having bought the tickets 3 months in [...]

I must say I thought there was a higher force trying to keep me from buying this. I'm talking about the VCI-300 which I've been after pretty much since the first time I heard about it from Lexer back in March. For many months, the product wasn't even available in the United States and when it did hit the shelves, it was sold out rather quickly. You still can't find a lot of stores carrying it but fortunately www.pssl.com has them in stock and ready to ship.

I realize that if you were a McCain supporter, this isn't your favorite day and I can understand if you're irritated that I changed the whole site to a custom Obama theme but you're just going to have to put up with it. The "Neon Circus" put together by the Positive Vibe Movement showed that hard work and team spirit always are the right ingredients for a successful party. From a venue that was decorated to something that can only be described as eye candy, to a great line up of DJ's who delivered a great variety of funky and off the hook music there was nothing left to wish for.

Last night's Creative Counsel Meeting brought out new ideas, new members and a new list of things we need for the October 31st Neon Circus Party.

If you haven't already volunteered for assisting the Crew the night of the Party, make it a point to. There is plenty of opportunity to help out in any way and WE WANT YOU! 
