There are two items to configure if you want your posts to show an avatar next to your username and a signature underneath your post.

[edit] Avatar

The avatar is really just an image. This image has to be stored on a webserver and the url to it has to be entered in the appropriate field as shown below. If you don't have a place to store your image online you can use our webspace. If you don't know how to upload a picture to the site click here

[edit] Signature

Most forums also support the use of signatures. In most cases these signatures allow some kind of html, not necessarily the usual html. What most forums inclding our own uses is so called 'bb code'. Following is an example of such a signature where we have an image, and the image linking to a website:

[url=http://yourwebsite.com]
[img]http://yourwebsite.com/images/yourimage.jpg[/img]
[/url]

The important thing here is to realize the syntax. Here's an example of a link with no image:

[url=http://yourwebsite.com]This Will Be The Hyperlink[/url]

Modify the above code above to match your information and enter the code as shown in the following picture:

The last thing to keep in mind is that avatars usually have size restrictions. This means you have to prepare an image that's not any bigger than 80x80px for example and the size shouldn't exceed 500k.
