Simple Tags

Tag Clouds are a great way for blogs to structure the content in a non-conventional way. Before, in order to get to all the content, you had to click through categories, or archives, or simply scroll and skips between all the different pages.

Tags give reads a whole new way of browsing content. The way this is accomplished is by "tagging" every article that's written with applicable words. For example, if you're writing a post on politics and are talking about the election primaries, or something of that sort, it would make sense to add the following tags: politics, elections, primary, republican, democrat.

If this procedure is applied to all articles, they will at some point show up by way of their tags, in the tag cloud. These tag clouds basically show which articles contain the most tags of a certain type.

My blog also has such a tag cloud and if you take a look at it (located at the top, in the right navbar) you will see certain tags a lot bigger than others. What this means is that the most tags exist for that specific tag.
